Building the decision layer for global manufacturing.
Manufacturing teams make thousands of decisions every week. Which technologies to use. Where to source a part. How much it will cost. How long it will take. What the CO₂ impact will be. Most of this still happens by gut feeling, scattered spreadsheets, and endless emails. 3D Spark is turning all of that into one intelligent system.
A platform that gives engineers, buyers, planners, and suppliers instant clarity on the cheapest, fastest, and most sustainable way to manufacture or buy a part. Across all technologies and suppliers.
What this really means is that we’re building the long-term infrastructure for how physical parts get made.
Investors rarely get access to industrial platforms at the moment they transition from “working for a few companies” to “essential layer of a whole category.” 3D Spark is moving through that phase right now.

Jens Schumann is a serial entrepreneur known for transforming ideas into successful companies. He co-founded Tipp24 and led it from a startup to a publicly listed business through international expansion and IPO. He advises 3D Spark on scaling strategies and sustainable growth.

Andreas Saar spent several decades at Siemens developing advanced manufacturing software solutions. As Vice President at Siemens PLM, he pioneered hybrid and additive manufacturing systems and was an early advocate for industrial 3D printing. He supports 3D Spark in aligning its technology with the workflows of global manufacturers.

Prof. Claus Emmelmann is one of Europe’s leading experts in laser technology and additive manufacturing. He founded Laser Zentrum Nord to bridge research and industry, later integrated into Fraunhofer IAPT. His expertise helps 3D Spark maintain technological excellence and close ties with industrial partners.

Dr. Omar Fergani is a serial entrepreneur solving manufacturing’s toughest problems with AI and compute. He co-founded and exited Navasto, and founded 1000 Kelvin, Neoforge and Digimind. Previously in Siemens digital industries leadership, he helped industrialize additive manufacturing. He now advises and invests in deep-tech startups driving efficient, resilient industrial production.

Dr. Jan Wilkes combines technical depth with leadership in industrial product development. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, he has led global R&D at SLM Solutions and is leading global R&D at Fette Compacting. He supports 3D Spark in developing industrially robust and future-oriented technologies.

Prof. Jens Telgkamp brings together aerospace engineering and academic research. At Airbus, he led additive manufacturing R&T programmes before joining HAW Hamburg as Professor. He helps 3D Spark meet the high standards of aerospace and other regulated industries.

Dr. Karsten Klinger combines financial expertise with a strong technological background. With a doctorate in Business Informatics, he has led technology companies through rapid growth and transformation. He advises 3D Spark on financial strategy and long-term scalability.

Jan Peter Schween brings over a decade of sales experience in high-tech and security markets. At Dedrone, he built the EMEA sales network and partner ecosystem, driving international growth through to a successful $500M exit. Earlier at FARO Europe, he helped expand global distribution, gaining deep technical insight. Now co-founder and Head of Sales at SWARM Biotactics, he applies his expertise in scalable B2C and B2G sales and go-to-market strategy as an Advisor.

Prof. Jens Wulfsberg leads one of Germany’s leading laboratories for manufacturing engineering. His work, encompassing numerous patents and publications, helps 3D Spark design solutions that integrate seamlessly into the smart factories of the future.
