Where is my data stored, and how is it secured?

All data is hosted within the EU on ISO 27001-certified servers managed by Hetzner Online GmbH. We use TLS v1.2+ for data in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Sensitive data like CAD files and pricing is protected by strict access controls and customer-specific data isolation.

Is the platform GDPR-compliant?

Yes. 3D Spark is fully aligned with GDPR principles, including data minimization, transparency, and purpose limitation. We maintain one year of audit logs and process all data under strict controller-based instructions.

How does 3D Spark manage user access and permissions?

We support role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure users only see what they’re supposed to. Single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) are available for enhanced security, and roles can be customized to fit your team structure.

What happens if there’s a failure - are there backups?

Yes. We perform daily backups (retained for 7days) and incremental backups (kept for 45 days). System and audit logs are available to support quick recovery and ensure continuity.

Can you support more advanced enterprise or compliance requirements?

Yes, other options like single tenant, Private Cloud, or On-Prem solutions are available at extra cost. Please reach out for more information.
